Y’all know I love the easy to read version of the Bible, it makes things so simple for me. The traditional verse says this:
“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”

Big difference .. from the easy to read version I got that God is still working on me. I am not perfect and I’m so happy that I don’t have to be. With the love of God I am invincible just as I am. But you know what happens next? We happen!
We begin to doubt Gods love and forgiveness. We thinks it covers this but maybe not that. We stop believing that his grace and mercy is ours forever.
“That’s how we know we belong to the way of truth. And when our hearts make us feel guilty, we can still have peace before God, because God is greater than our hearts. He knows everything.”
