Dear readers, today I am offering a prayer for the children who are back in school or starting in the coming days. Please believe with me that they will be healthy, mentally wealthy and safe this year.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you standing in the gap for our children. Lord, as we send our children to these schools be with them. Lord, be with every administrator who makes decisions for our children, give them knowledge that man can’t understand so our children will continue to walk the path you have chosen for them.
Allow them to have the knowledge and the skills to teach our children so they will be prepared for the life you have prepared for them.
Lord, bless every door handle, as our children touch the door, remind them that if they knock on the door to unlock knowledge, you will answer. Remind them that no door is closed for them, no good thing will be withheld from them because they are walking in your power.
Lord, protect them from bullies, protect them from bullets and any other thing that would cause them harm.
Lord, as they take steps down the hallway, order their steps for we know the steps of a righteous man are ordered by you.
Lord as they open their books, prepare their hearts and mind to learn, allow the blood to flow in such a way that it opens new channels in their brains for learning, comprehension and application skills.
Lord prepare the teachers to enhance the minds of our children. Be the strength teachers need to ensure another day, remind them that they don’t need to be strong, they just need to trust you. Lord be the patients they need to continue even when they are frustrated and tired. Lord be the discernment they need to help every child you present to them. Lord these teachers need you in new ways and I know that you can and will provide them what is needed.
Lord I offer this prayer in Faith, the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ. Amen
