Proverbs 29:11 “Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end”
How often do we use the term “im just keeping it real” when in realty we are just making an excuse to hurt someone feelings. We have to start thinking before we speak. We can’t say everything that come to our minds. Words are sharp and they cut deep. We can apologize after we have hurt someone feelings but both you and I know the person will play those words over and over. So I challenge you to start filtering what you say. Like the old people use to say “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”
Dear Lord,We come to you on this day with open hearts. Thanking you for life. Thanking you for giving us the opportunity to see another day. Father many people did not get to see this day so we thank you for chosing us. Thank you for loving us in spite of our flaws. Thank you for being an on time God. Thank you for moving in our life when it is needed and not when we want it.
Father God on we ask that you cleanse our hearts of hate, bitterness, negativity, rage and anger. Replace those things with love, patience and kindness. Allow us to see people as you do Lord God. Filter our words and our thoughts. Help us to speak words of encouragement, help us to uplift our brothers and sisters instead of bashing them and belittling them. We love honor and adore you father. Please remove anything that separates us from you. Allow us to worship with you and have a relationship with you in the mighty name of Jesus we pray and ask all. AMEN!!!!
