When U Pray

James 4:8 “Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

How often do we be focused on God then revert right back to our own way of thinking. Thinking we can handle everything on our own. Thinking that the way we are living is ok. Making excuses for everything that we do. Truth is we can’t justify it. God want our WHOLE heart. Not just a piece of it. Its time that we go to God and admit our faults and our flaws. God already know he just want us to be honest with him. So I challenge you on this day to get in your place of prayer and vent to him, so that he may begin to heal that area you struggle with.. Lord knows I struggle in many.

Most gracious father, I come to you this morning with a bowed head and humble heart. Begging for forgiveness of the sins I have committed knowing and unknowingly. Father I ask that you create in us a clean and pure heart. Father I also ask that whomever is reading this prayer be blessed Lord God. Father I ask that you allow them to be free from whatever may be separating them from you. Father I ask that you give them the courage to come to you so that you may fix whatever the problem or issue is. Father God I ask that whomever is reading this is free from fear, free from insecurities, free from trying to please people of this world. God allow them to focus on you. Allow them to trust you with everything they have. Father please wrap your arms around them and guide them into the right direction. In the Mighty name of Jesus I pray and ask it all. AMEN!!
