When U Pray

So this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, we pray that your name will always be kept holy. We pray that your kingdom will come— that what you want will be done here on earth, the same as in heaven. Give us the food we need for today. Forgive our sins, just as we have forgiven those who did wrong to us. Don’t let us be tempted, but save us from the Evil One.’ (Matthew 6:9-13 ERV)

There is joy in this prayer, it tells us to keep God Holy, let his perfect will be done in our lives, forgive everyone who hurt us, to trust That God will make sure our needs are met and that he will keep the devil off our backs.. I could shout right now. How easy is it to forget that a simple prayer is all we need to feel relieved from the burdens of our lives? Or that just saying the name Jesus in our mind can calm the stormy seas of our thoughts? Or that if we whisper in our spirit that God can hear our deepest fears and he will protect us? Oh how I love the name Jesus, it is the sweetest name I know.. Y’all I’m praising him cause I still have breathe in my body..hallelujah
