I love your word. Time and again it has been proven true. I am young, and people don’t respect me. But I have not forgotten your instructions. Your goodness is forever, and your teachings can be trusted. Even though I have troubles and hard times, your commands give me joy. Your rules are always right. Help me understand them so that I can live. (Psalms 119:140-144 ERV)
Dear heavenly Father I Thank you for your word that never fails me. I thank you for your mercy that renews every day and for unspeakable joy that sustains me. Lord I need you to help me understand your word when I hear it, give me insight and discernment. I know that some of your words are meant to chasten, some to uplift, some to restore and some to provide direction and instruction. Help me hear the intent you have for me and my life. in Jesus name, Amen.
