Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. ” (Matthew 17:19-20 NIV)
Faith is kind of easy when someone else is going through. It’s easy to tell someone I’ll pray for you when they lost a loved one. I’ll keep your family lifted in prayer. I understand what you’re going through. But what about when that thing hit home? When you’re looking at your loved one on their death bed. When your check just isn’t enough to cover all the bills that you have. When you are ready to knock your kids out because they acting crazy. When you are feeling depressed, lonely or insecure Is your faith still on 1000.
I’m sure in most cases it’s not. It’s not as easy when it’s you right? But I’m here to tell you that no matter what you are going through. No matter what your situation look like. You have to remain faithful. You have to trust God with every ounce of your being. Knowing, no matter what the outcome may be he got it under control.
Dear father,
I come before you this day asking for forgiveness of my sins. Asking that you forgive me for all the times I have doubted you. All the times I depended on someone or something else instead of you. Father I pray for whomever may be reading this. Father I pray you increase their faith. I pray you show them that you are the only way. Father God allow them to stand before you boldly knowing that no matter the situation you will handle it. Father remove all doubt and frustration from them. According to (2 Samuel 22:33 NIV) “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” We know that you will give us the strength to withstand whatever. We are standing on your word with everything that we have. Trusting and knowing that it will not come back void. We love you and we adore!!! In Jesus mighty name I pray and ask it all. Amen
