People joke around about the devil but he real as ever!!! He knows our weaknesses and the things we struggle with. From the time our feet hit the floor in the morning to the the time we lay our heads on the pillow we have to be ready for battle, because he is!!! He even attacks us in our sleep!!
I don’t know about you but I have these days when I wake up and I’m like “who face is this?” Feeling all unpretty because everything I look at says… “Pretty is then. Dressed half naked and face beat to the gods(make up).” But eh that’s just not me.. I’m pretty plain.. The devil tells me all this before 7AM!! he attacks my self esteem having me feeling unpretty and blah!!
But God says in (Psalms 139:13-14 NKJV) For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well….
Meaning It doesn’t matter what the world says is popular or pretty because God created you just the way you are!! Love yourself and others will follow!!
I’m on my way to work. Feeling like Big Sean in his Skyscrapers lyrics “watch how you speak to me, been working all week and I know I need Zzzzs, trying to get paid repeatedly…”(just a little rap humor) I’m struggling because work just haven’t been going all that great so my attitude is jacked up, pay check ain’t enough to cover the laundry list of bills etc etc!! The devil know me so he sending any and everything to distract me and frustrate me at work.. Am I the only one dealing with this?! Maybe!!
But God says in(Colossians 3:23 NKJV) And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men..
Meaning we should know that God is our source!! He gave us the job in the first place!! So work like we are working for him and he will handle the rest!!
Now I’m home from work it’s raining in my kitchen!! Yeah, need a roof and it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Then, it’s a Shut off notice from the water department!! I don’t even want to pay it. Why you ask?!? We can’t even drink the water/barely bathe in it. The devil know finances is a struggle place for me so he constantly attacks me!! Like constantly!!!
BUT REMEMBER YOU CANT FIGHT WITHOUT THE RIGHT TOOLS!!
God says in(Philippians 4:19 NKJV) And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
I’ve read this scripture 124432 times and God has shown me time and time again that he has my back and I still struggle.
My struggle may not be your struggle! But we all struggle in some area!! I’m literally just speaking on my own stuff in this post! Hoping that someone read it and know they are not alone!! The devil is here to kill, steal and destroy everything!! So we have to keep the tools READY that God has provided us with!!
The word of God can not and will not ever come back void!!! There will always be a battle to fight. But with God on your side you will not lose!!!
You’re unstoppable!!! Keep going!!! Don’t stop!! Don’t lose faith and please trust and know that God has your back at all time ❤️
