Are you Judas?
“They were all eating. Then Jesus said, “Believe me when I say that one of you twelve here will hand me over to my enemies.” The followers were very sad to hear this. Each one said, “Lord, surely I am not the one!” Jesus answered, “One who has dipped his bread in the same bowl with me will be the one to hand me over.”

These past few weeks I was practicing to participate in our Resurrection production at my church. Of course I know the story of Judas and his betrayal. it’s a known fact that to be considered a Judas is a terrible thing, or is it?
Most of us can quote bible scriptures that we hear all the time. If I start by saying “All things work together” most people will know the rest, ” work together to the good for those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose”. Do you really believe the stuff you quote? The new buzz is the song that goes ” All things are working for my good, he’s intentional”. Do you believe it?
“When Judas took the bread, Satan entered him. Jesus said to Judas, “What you will do—do it quickly!””
John 13:27 ERVhttp://bible.com/406/jhn.13.27.erv
Judas had an assignment that was just as important as Jesus’s. His life was intentional if you believe God at his word. If Judas had failed in his purpose where would we be? Would Jesus had been turned over to the people to be executed if Judas did not betray Jesus? Would someone else had done it? Could it have been you?
If you believe that all things work to the good, that things are intentional in the kingdom; then I have to believe that my positive and my negative actions has ushered someone into thier destiny. I asked could you be Judas? Have you ever betrayed someone you loved? Have you ever told someone business to someone who it was not thier business? Have you lied on someone to save yourself? Or just because? Have you cheated on your spouse or significant other? Have you slept with a friends significant other? I don’t want anyone to confess to me but the reality is we have all been Judas.
Here is the good news, I’m not condoning sin or betrayal but I also know that “All things work together “. I know that my actions cause a reaction in the people and things in my sphere of influence so, positively or negatively. But the things that are meant for bad, our Lord and Savior can make them for our good. So yeah Judas betrayed Jesus but somebody had to do it so he could be killed and then resurrected for our sin. Jesus took on Sin so that you could be free and I can too.
Hallelujah amen, he is Risen and I’ve been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. 🙏🏽❤️
