Yes, more love

“From far away, the Lord will appear to his people. The Lord says, “I love you people with a love that continues forever. That is why I have continued showing you kindness.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:3‬ ‭ERV‬‬

If I listened to every preacher and gospel speaker I will hear about the wonders of the Lord. I will hear how he blesses people , how he heals them and how he punishes them. If I listen a little longer they will tell me how God sent his only begotten son to cleanse me of my sins and that by choosing Jesus I will have ever lasting life. I believe all those things yes I do, but I also believe in Love, not just the love of Jesus but the love of God, he loved people so much that yes, he gave his only begotten son to free us from sin.

If I am free of sin why do people keep assigning sin? You know reminding you of how terrible you are, how bad your choices are and how much more righteous they are; showing you Old Testament scriptures to justify their actions. I’m always thrown off when someone can categorize sin to me that has been forgiven.

I’m no Bible scholar and I realize some of the Bible is deeper that am able to comprehend but my relationship with God is just as deep and I will continue to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me and I will continue to believe that Jesus died for my sins.

I will continue to believe that the love God has for me and mankind will never end, that his compassion will never end and his mercy will show up new each day.

“Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
