When U Pray

Michael W. Smith wrote the song Awesome God, you probably recognize the lyrics because it is sung in many churches, many denominations and with many variations, because it is an awesome song. It’s very simple and is literally just the four lines below. It’s genius when they sing it, you don’t realize it’s only 4 lines of worship because they make it big and awesome with their voices. 

Our God is an awesome God

He reigns from heaven above

With wisdom, power, and love

Our God is an awesome God

So today, add your voice and just worship the Lord, you don’t need perfect pitch or perfect harmony, just the recognition that Our God IS and Awesome God and a willingness to sing.

Dear Father, 

We come to you today recognizing that you are an awesome God and wonderful are your works. God you continue to provide for us, you continue to heal us, you continue to grow us and protect us and we are thankful. Lord we don’t come asking for anything, we just want to say Thank You!

In Jesus name, Amen.
