“I remember well all my troubles, and I am very sad. But then I think about this, and I have hope: We are still alive because the Lord’s faithful love never ends. Every morning he shows it in new ways! You are so very true and loyal! I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my God, and I trust him.’ The Lord is good to those who wait for him. He is good to those who look for him. It is good to wait quietly for the Lord to save them.”

Today, as you remember all the problems you’ve faced — the betrayals, the mishaps, the disappointments — think on God. He has been faithful.
God never promised us a life without trouble, but He did promise to be with us in those troubles. I love when He says:
“I am amazed at what you know; it is too much for me to understand. Your Spirit is everywhere I go. I cannot escape your presence. If I go up to heaven, you will be there. If I go down to the place of death, you will be there.”
Psalms 139:6–8 ERV

God said: If you go to Hell, He will be with you.
Wellllllll… a Thank You fits right here. Who couldn’t serve a God like that?
And what about when He said:
“Teach them to obey everything that I have told you to do. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will continue with you until the end of time.”
Matthew 28:20 ERV

Or when He said:
“Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 ERV

So I say this:
Hallelujah, and thank You, Father. Great is Thy faithfulness toward me.
I love You, Lord. When I am weak, You are my strength. When I am sick, You heal me. When I am troubled, You comfort me. Thank You, God. Those three words feel inadequate for all You do for me, but I love You and I appreciate You.
