Ipray(seeking)

1 chronicles 13:1-14

In the text David decided to move the ark without seeking God’s direction. In doing so Uzzah lost his life because they simply did not ask God how to move the Ark. Now think about our daily lives and how we move and make decisions without even stopping to ask God, is this part of my purpose? Is this what I am suppose to? No, we are money driven, power driven and led by what society thinks. It’s time to be God driven. Let’s focus on consulting with him daily to see what he says about our lives and what we should be doing with them.

Father according too (Luke 12:31 KJV) But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. You stated very clear that you expect us to seek you in everything. So on this day we ask that you remove anything that’s separating us from you. Help us to be able to come to you about anything; pride, lust, jealousy, bitterness and anything else negative that we may have. Let us stand before you naked and unashamed Lord God. So that you can begin to rebuild us from the inside out. Help us father to focus on the inside as much as we do the outside. Give us a heart of Gold and a spirit of love. Allow us to be content in any situation you place before us Lord God. Father we love you and we thank you for life and everything you have done for us. Never leave our side!! In Jesus name we pray and ask it all. amen!!!

  1. This is interesting that you chose this today, I had a epiphany about this very subject earlier. I try my best to check with God before I do anything and wait for His answer but as of lately I still find myself asking others their opinion about things going on in my life. I’m learning that their opinion doesn’t matter if God has already told me what to do! I’m also learning that they’re not gonna always understand or agree with what im doing and that’s ok too cus God gave the vision to me and not them. So what’s the point in seeking their approval ? There isn’t one! I praise God for this revelation and I will no longer open the door to negativity or judgement. Officially putting up the privacy fence ! God bless you and thanks for your post! Its showing me that God will confirm His Word so I don’t have to ask anyone else!! Love You Guys

    1. We love you too Desi. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your life. Learning to talk to God first and not worry about others is tough. But its so necessary!! He has all the answers anyway, may as well cut out the middle men. 🙂
