You ever have one of those days when all you can think is Really? Really God, you want me to do that? You want me to forgive them? You want me to jump even though I cannot see where I am going? Really God, your telling me I have to sit here and be patient when I could be trying to figure this out for myself. Really God, my child is in pain and I can’t help them? Really God, I can’t hear your voice or feel your touch but you want me to keep trusting you?
Well I will have been trying to understand what I am suppose to do when these questions are on my mind or someone asks me, the Lord responded to my inquiriy with the word PEACE!
Peace
I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer. (Psalms 120:1 NLT)
God, you give true peace to people who depend on you, to those who trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3 ERV)
For the good of my family and neighbors, I pray that there will be peace here. For the good of the Temple of the Lord our God, I pray that good things will happen to this city. (Psalms 122:8, 9 ERV)
People who work for peace in a peaceful way get the blessings that come from right living. (James 3:18 ERV)
Greetings from Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James. To those who have been chosen and are loved by God the Father and have been kept safe in Jesus Christ. Mercy, peace, and love be yours more and more. Keep yourselves safe in God’s love, as you wait for the Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life. God is strong and can keep you from falling. He can bring you before his glory without any wrong in you and give you great joy. He is the only God, the one who saves us. To him be glory, greatness, power, and authority through Jesus Christ our Lord for all time past, now, and forever. Amen. (Jude 1:1, 2, 21, 24, 25 ERV)
I said Amen!
