So I tell you, you are Peter. And I will build my church on this rock. The power of death will not be able to defeat my church. I will give you the keys to God’s kingdom. When you speak judgment here on earth, that judgment will be God’s judgment. When you promise forgiveness here on earth, that forgiveness will be God’s forgiveness.” (Matthew 16:18, 19 ERV)
On this rock I will build my church..I am the Rock are you? I’m walking in faith and trusting God for many things. I am convinced, I have decided, I am fully persuaded that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly in my life. I am convinced that all things work to the good for those that love God and are called according to his purpose. I know I have a purpose because I am still here in my right mind in spite of my bad choices, in spite of my ignorance and despite my evil nature. I’m standing on the word that said to me All Is Well! That tells me that no matter what it looks like to my worldly eye I am still ok. I am blessed, healed, delivered and any other word that covers my well being. The statement All is Well has kept me because it means I accept that God is in charge. I accept his will for me and I challenge you to do the same. Jesus told Peter he would build his church on that rock, Peter was the rock and so am I.
And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love—how wide, how long, how high, and how deep that love is. Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with everything God has for you. With God’s power working in us, he can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. (Ephesians 3:18-20 ERV)
