““I could say, ‘I will not complain. I will forget my pain and put a smile on my face.’”Job 9:27 ERV http://bible.com/406/job.9.27.erv
Fake it till you make it right? People are always willing to tell you how to overcome big problems, but it’s not the big problem that you need help with. How do you deal with the everyday problems, the problems that appear normal to others but are wearing you out? One thing after another is happening, how do you do it? Example, you and your significancant other can’t get along for nothing, all of sudden you are arguing about stupid stuff. Bills, bills and more bills. Everybody need shoes or you look up and everybody is flooding, now they need pants but Consumers wants their money too. Add in a kid who is acting a plum fool, every day the school is calling for something. The car needs tires, tags, battery or something and your parents are getting older and need you more and more. Nothing big, just a bunch of little things and now your pants don’t fit either and there is no time to work out so they are too tight or no time to eat so they are bagging. Work is crazy, you can’t be late again, can’t leave again and you hate your boss and a raise would not hurt. It’s always something.
It appears everybody in the Bible needed that Big Thing , God showed up and boom, their life was changed. But you just need a little thing, you need a break.
After you get tired of being sick and tired you turn over, roll down to your knees and bow your head right? You start praying and telling Jesus how you feel and boom,You are reminded of what He said:
“Jesus said to his followers, “So I tell you, don’t worry about the things you need to live—what you will eat or what you will wear.
None of you can add any time to your life by worrying about it. And if you can’t do the little things, why worry about the big things?”Luke 12:22, 25-26 ERV http://bible.com/406/luk.12.22,25-26.erv
Don’t worry about it, sound familiar? The phrase sounds so easy, because it is. Trust that Jesus really knows what you need. Do this, think back to every crazy situation in your life and ask yourself “What did I do to make it right?” When I did that, I realized I had never solved anything in my life, I made a few things worse but it wasn’t until Jesus stepped in that it was truly resolved.
“So, my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Don’t let anything change you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord. You know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.”1 Corinthians 15:58 ERVhttp://bible.com/406/1co.15.58.erv
