Crying Out To You

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You a total wreck. My mind and my heart feel broken by the events around me, and my soul is weeping. I have suffered for days — and then Your Spirit called to me, reminding me that You are with me always. Reminding me that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Yes, the night may feel long, and the darkness may seem everlasting, but in truth, the only thing that is truly everlasting is Your love.

Father, I worship Your holy name. I praise You with my mouth, with my hands, and with my heart because You are faithful. I praise You because You are worthy to be praised. Lord, You have been my strong tower against my enemies — even when the enemy was me. Lord, You have been my strength because I am weak. You have been everything I need in every situation. Your Word is hidden in my heart.
