Dear Heavenly Father, Abba Father, my Lord,
I thank You for another year, another day, another hour, another minute, and every second You allow me to remain on this earth. Since You have given me this time, please help me keep my mind clear. Remind me to mind my own business and to look to You for guidance. Remind me that love truly is the answer.
Lord, keep my heart soft when I encounter people who handle life differently than I do. Help me appreciate and value the diversity of thoughts, ideas, and methods You have placed within each of us. Help me remember to accept every person I meet just as they are — knowing they don’t have to change or agree with me for me to walk in love toward them.
Lord, I am not perfect, but I love You with my whole heart. And I trust that as I grow, as I continue to lean on You, You will complete the good work You have begun in me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I truly hope that if you’ve known me through the years, you can see growth in me — as a person, a wife, a mother, a Gigi, and a friend. Maybe not always in the areas you think I need work in, but in the areas God sees fit. I love each of you in one way or another, or you wouldn’t be reading this. Be blessed.
The party continues — and it just might be televised. Stay tuned!
